Thom Shepherd grew up near St. Louis, Missouri, and learned to waterski on the Mississippi River. He spent many summer vacations on the river, at the Lake of the Ozarks and Lake Stockton in Missouri, and at Lake Shelbyville and Lake Carlyle in Illinois. When Thom's family moved to Virginia they spent time at Lake Anna and on the Potomac River near Hagerstown, Maryland.  He moved to Nashville in 1993 to pursue a music career and in 2001 wrote the number-one hit song, "Riding with Private Malone."  He even appeared in the video playing the title role. The song was nominated for a CMT Flameworthy Award, and is one of CMT's Forty Greatest Road Songs.  It was also voted "The Song You Wish You Had Written" by members of the Nashville Songwriters Association.  Thom is a great performer and can be seen with his band The Twang Thang in Nashville and around the country. He has been on five tours for Armed Forces Entertainment, visiting Alaska, Europe, and Greenland. He wrote "Redneck Yacht Club" with Steve Williams in 2003.  Thom lives with his wife Misty, daughter Cody, and son Wyatt in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

Steve Williams was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up boating on the Mississippi River and at the Lake of the Ozarks.  After he got married, Steve and his wife, Terri, bought a home in Collinsville, Illinois (on the East side of the river) where they spent many weekends boating with their original Redneck Yacht Club friends out on Lake Carlyle.
Since moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 1995, Steve has had cuts recorded by Buddy Jewell, Craig Morgan, Trick Pony, Steve Holy and others. Recently his song "I Get To" recorded by Blue County, reached number one on the Christian Music Charts.  Steve has been performing since the age of 14 and at sixteen was a regular performer at Lake Ozark, Missouri's famed Lodge of the Four Seasons resort.  His vocal style has been likened to James Taylor. Steve's new CD, "I Get To" can be purchased on the CD link page of this website. He continues to enjoy the lake, writing many of his ideas while anchored at a cove on Percy Priest Lake.  What cove?  Why...Party Cove!  Where else?  Look for his cruiser!
